I wear size 12.5 - 13 men's US for almost all shoe manufacturers and the size 48 was perfect. Just did a weekend at the Kingdom trails it it performed perfectly. Absolutely tore it up in the berms and stayed planted in the air. I mated these with new Crank Bros Mallet Enduro LS pedals. I'll use this combo for a long time. I tried them with CB's Egg Beaters too but didn't love the feel - too squirmy. I think that was more pedal than the shoe though.The sole is plenty stiff but def not as stiff as road biking shoes. I was looking for shoes I that could walk uphill and these did that and transferred power immediately when pedaling. They also dry out quickly. Highly recommended.At the recommendation of all the other reviews, I went up a size. I wish I hadn't. I love the shoes, but they are very roomy. Not so roomy that I didn't keep them, but roomy enough that I would prefer a smaller size. I have worn them one time. They seem a little warm, but are comfortable for walking around when not riding, which is why I bought them.Super comfortable shoes. Only complaint so far is that I had the inside catch and tear the mesh on the inside of my right shoe of the front derailleur on my second ride with them. That's partially user error, but I'd have hoped they'd be a little more sturdy than that. Still very happy with the purchase, however.The molded sole causes the "glowing red: to be contaminated with the black section and makes it not so "glowy." Also note that the color is in the orange range.I took the recommendation of one size larger and am glad I did. Plenty of room and comfortable. Good looking shoe, too; I returned a couple of other shoe brands since they looked either orthotic (no offense to anyone) or too youthful (skateboarder).Great shoe but runs a size smaller. I would definitely recommend this shoe.These are sturdy and comfortable. They hold up really well in all types of weather.Wore these on the 2018 RAGBRAI and they performed flawlessly when paired with a pair of Crankbrothers Candy pedals.This is a very nice shoe - well made and elegant. But I normally take a size 43 (UK 9) shoe and this 43 was so small I suspect it was closer to an UK8 or 8.5. So bewareLos compré como reemplazo de unos de MTB con cerradura de lazo, el cual se descompuso y dejaron inservibles los zapatos, al no poder ajustarlos. Elegí estos para evitar ese mismo problema. Tienen buen agarre en el pavimento y en las piedras, quedan a la medida según la tabla de tallas y pueden pasar desapercibidos en caso de que haya que visitar alguna tienda o algo.ottimo prodottoTrès jolie et confortable
