Shoe runs small. Returned for a larger sizeI was impressed by these shoes-- not over-designed; high-quality materials; good functionality. Unfortunately for me, they were too small. I typically wear a size 8.5 US / 42 UK, which is what I ordered. When I received them and tried them on, they were too small. I returned them and received my refund. Maybe I'll try a size up when the 9 US is back in stock. Hope this helps.TL;DR -- Order a 1/2 size to a size up.Great shoes, very comfortable and durable. Only note is it does not "fit small"... I baught a half size larger based on the reviews and recommendations, and had to return to get my actual size.. fits just like my pumas, addidas and nikeI am a fan of Astral and a repeat customer of their PFDs, but these shoes did not work well for me. The materials and construction are excellent, and I like the aesthetics, but the sizing does not seem sorted out. The toe box is spacious and wide, much like a Camper design, but the throat is very narrow. I wear a 10M and do not have any unusual fit issues; nearly all 10M shoes fit me fine. This shoe is loose in the toe box but uncomfortably tight at the throat area. The length is perhaps a bit on the short side for a 10, but still within a normal range. The material is attractive and looks hard wearing, but it also doesn't seem to have much give in it, so the tightness in the throat remains after a week of use. They just entered the shoe space, so perhaps they'll get it sorted out in time.lightweight and water resistantI've bee putting some wear and tear on these and I gotta say that I love them more the more I wear them. I have "narrow" feet for a man and even I appreciated the wider toe box that these shoes provide. I got them wet several times and although not a true "water shoe", these dried wonderfully.Great shoe.These might be great, but run very narrow. Gotta knock some stars for how off the sizing is. Consider a full size up if you have medium to wide feet. For having a wide toe box as a feature, The widest part of my foot was the most pinched area. They are a low fitting shoe, probably not for high volume feet. For size reference I’m an 11 in Vans or Lems. Would probably need these in a 12. Quality of the material/stitching seemed very good. Sole is pretty thin and has a lot of give, very flexible.This is a great looking shoe. Loved everything about it except the fit. Ordered it in 2 sizes just because I wanted it to work. The smaller size was too narrow, and the larger size had some weird thing with the material wrinkling up on the top.
